It is not very often that I meet someone that I just MUST paint, but when I met this wonderful five year old, I knew I had to put her to paper.  What captivated me about Jenny was the light that she seemed to give off to everyone around her. All trusting, wanting to learn from everying, and with a laugh that makes everyone smile, I count myself fortunate to have been about to have her as a model.

Update: "Homeless" is the winner of the Kentucky Artist Award in the 2017 Aqueous Exhibition in Louisville, KY.,  Honorable Mention at the 2018 Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition, and the Spirit of Inspiration Award at Greenwich House Gallery for the 2018 ViewPoint50 Exhibition in Cincinnati OH.
