Visiing the zoo in St Paul, MN, I spent a great deal of time watching the spider monkeys. This guy sat on his rock looking up, down, all around while I shot photos. I have been facinated with primates since childhood. When I was a kid, I wanted one as a pet. After nearly 30 minutes, this guy turned and looked straight into my eyes. I was so affected, I nearly forgot tsnap the photo. The emotional pull was strong. I hope I have been able to capture the haunted look in his eyes.
