David Cheifetz workshop

I was so fortunate to be able to spend time with artist David Cheifetz and study with him in a workshop he taught in East Texas. He is a magnificient oil painter and I thoroughly enjoyed the time in which he took studying a still life setup and deciding what attracts the artist to a particular object. The thought and mindfullness that he uses as he sets up a composition and executes the painting, is certainly a lesson in process and taking time with intention. I am looking forward to getting into the studio after this move is completed and playing in oil again.
