2016 - A New Year

January 7, 2016

One thing that 2015 taught me, was, although I thoroughly enjoyed being the owner of a gallery in Corpus Christi, I don't want to be a salesperson. I want to be a painter.  And running a gallery put me in the sales category with little time in the studio.  Now that I've moved to Dallas and moved all my goods into my new studio, its time to get to painting.  Here is the first one of the new year.  Jenny is a marvelously alive, animated, and light-filled five year old I knew in Corpus Christi and the perfect subject of my first painting of 2016.
